We recently worked on the latest University of York Pay Gap Report, enhancing the visual design to make the data easier to explore and understand. This year’s report features more engaging graphs and graphics, helping present complex information in a clearer and more accessible way.

Thoughtful data visualisation can make a real difference when it comes to communicating important findings and encouraging meaningful conversations.

2025 marked the 10th anniversary of the York Human Rights Indicator Report. We’re proud to have designed all ten editions of this important publication, supporting the communication of vital data on inequality and deprivation across the city.

These reports play a vital role in highlighting disparities across York, turning complex data into clear and meaningful insight. As Rachael Maskell, MP for inner York, puts it, “The annual Indicator Report plays a pivotal role… we know that in-depth analysis can then drive change.”

We’ve been busy designing two monster publications for BBNet (the Biomass Biorefinery Network).

The first, “Biomass Biorefinery Network: Impact Report,” showcases the achievements and influence of the network, while the second, “The State of UK Biorefining in 2025,” provides a detailed snapshot of the sector today and where it’s heading next.

Both reports were packed with graphs, figures, and complex data, so our challenge was to turn all that information into clear, engaging, and visually accessible pages. The result: two substantial publications that make big data easier to explore and understand.

We’ve recently designed the Workforce Mapping Project 2025 report for the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.

Packed with numerous graphs and figures, the report transforms detailed workforce data into a clear and engaging visual story.

It was great fun working with their colourful brand, using vibrant elements to help highlight key insights and guide readers through the information.

A great example of how thoughtful design and data visualisation can make complex information easier to explore and understand.

We’re proud to reveal our logo design for ISHC 2027 – the XXV International Symposium on Homogeneous Catalysis, taking place in York in June 2027.
Inspired by the iconic silhouette of York Minster, the design combines simplicity with a nod to both the city’s heritage and the precision of modern catalysis.

We’ve recently completed the design of a report and infographics for "Freedom of Religion or Belief for All: Recognising and Protecting the Non-Religious in the Asylum System".
Bright, engaging and impactful, the design helps bring clarity to an important conversation about protecting the rights of non-religious people within the asylum system.
