Here we go again!!

This is a fascinating subject at the moment. Google initially said AI content was a huge no no. Although side tests proved otherwise. Then Google announced they would be launching their own AI platform, suddenly AI content is ok, as long as it’s helpful.

We are still testing the waters with our own side projects. We aren’t using this on any client work just yet, but it does look like this very well might be the direction of SEO in the next few years.

It’s a fascinating subject! What’s your views on AI content?

Secondly break things into manageable chunks, something achievable and focus on planning your strategy to move forward and you’ll smash it in no time.

Little late midweek motivation!

Not sure who needs to hear this today. But stop comparing yourself to others on social media…

Today I had a very interesting first meeting with a new client. (They gave me permission to share this story).
They were asking how their competitor was doing so well on social media.
They spent a good 30mins comparing themselves to this other company and focusing on how even though their competitor had been trading a lot less time, how could they be making the figures they were boasting on their socials etc.
They were very focused on how they wanted to do better than them online, which I was happy to help with. But I also pointed out how most social media accounts aren’t as real as you would think. There are a lot of “fake it, till you make it” businesses out there.
Luckily they were a Ltd company and we could see the profits they were boasting didn’t quite match what their company income was. I know tax and good accountants etc. But still the numbers were ridiculously different.

I’m excited to be working with this new project but I think this realisation helped the client more than the upcoming web marketing work we will be doing together. I also thought that meeting would hit home with a lot of people (myself included!) so I thought the story would be nice to share here.

Is it just me or are this years Black Friday adverts a little lacking?
