Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Social Media Sales Specialist to join our team at Quality Services, Ltd a leading retailer of vehicle parts in Grenada. As a Social Media Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in engaging customers both in-person and through social media platforms, providing exceptional service, assisting with order processing, and contributing to the overall success of our shop.
Responsibilities:
Marketing/Sales/Social Media:
• Collaborate with the social media consultant to assist in creating content for our social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
• Exhibit clear and confident communication skills for video content creation.
• Actively engage in writing and communication tasks, effectively conveying brand messaging.
• Utilize social media analytics tools to track and measure performance.
• Serve as a liaison with the social media consultant to coordinate promotions and campaigns.
Customer Service:
• Welcome and assist customers as they enter the shop, offering personalized service and addressing their inquiries and needs.
• Utilize your strong product knowledge to provide accurate and detailed information about vehicle parts and accessories.
• Communicate with customers through WhatsApp status updates, informing them about new promotions and sharing media submitted by the social media consultant.
• Skillfully manage negative comments from customers on WhatsApp, responding professionally and constructively to maintain the brand's reputation.
Order Processing:
• Receive and process customer orders, whether received in person, over the phone, or through WhatsApp.
• Enter order details accurately into our computer system and generate invoices or receipts promptly.
• Facilitate orders received through social media platforms and ensure their preparation for pick-up.
Product Knowledge:
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the diverse range of vehicle parts and accessories available in our shop.
• Stay current with the latest product offerings, features, and specifications to assist customers effectively.
Inventory Management:
• Collaborate in maintaining the shop's inventory by organizing shelves, replenishing products, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Update inventory records promptly to reflect sales and incoming shipments accurately.
Assistance with Displays:
• Contribute to the creation of attractive product displays that capture customers' attention.
• Organize products in an appealing and organized manner to enhance visual appeal.
Returns and Exchanges:
• Follow established shop policies and procedures to manage customer returns and exchanges.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
• Uphold a clean and organized shop environment, ensuring products are properly labelled and priced.
• Maintain the visual appeal of the shop to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
Administrative Tasks:
• Complete administrative duties such as filing paperwork, updating customer records, and maintaining databases accurately.
• Generate invoices for processing by the cashier.
Assisting Mechanics or Technicians:
• Generate work orders using information supplied by the customer.
Compliance and Problem Solving:
• Adhere to company policies, maintaining consistency in customer service, returns, pricing, and safety standards.
• Suggest complementary accessories and products to customers, showcasing upselling and cross-selling skills.
• Address customer concerns professionally, utilizing effective problem-solving techniques to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a retail or automotive-related setting will be considered an asset.
• At least 5 CXCs subjects, including English. Mathematics will be an additional asset.
Experience and Skills:
• Proficiency in using various social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently on camera for creating engaging social media content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for, or a willingness to learn about, vehicle parts and accessories and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and products.
• Candidates should possess a basic understanding of computer usage.
