Mockups are great, but your client is going to need to see what the actual file is going to look like.

Hence the reason why so many designers do these longer, presentation-style mockups.

It’s helpful to show, say, a design label both on and off the container it will cover or a logo on different colored and textured backgrounds. The client can look at it from different angles in order to see what kind of changes they want to make.

One of the industry rules/recommendations is to rebrand every 5 years. It keeps branding relevant and in line with the company’s current standing.

Your branding design should portray your brand’s current message and values to your buyers. If things change, be ready to rebrand so that your creative remains relevant.

Reposted from Hello guys! 🙋‍♂️ I’ve been debating about writing today’s post for a few months now… Why? 🤔 Because I don’t want it to come off the wrong way.
Let me explain… Since Instagram changed their algorithm it’s affected my engagement quite a bit. Some of you may notice you don’t see my posts as often anymore. Basically, that’s because Facebook (owns Insta) wants all business accounts to “pay to play”.

Since the change, I’ve really been trying to focus on getting my engagement back up. That basically means getting more “likes” on photos and interacting with my true followers more (aka liking and commenting on their pics).

So, I decided to line service called "Spam Guard App" LINK IN BIO (thanks to .brands for the reference) that “deleted” followers instead of “blocking” them. If they were deleted that means they can go follow you again instead of being blocked and never being able to find your account again 💡.

But, what are ghost/inactive followers? 👻 They are followers that don’t engage with your account. Meaning they started following you, but haven’t “liked” or “commented” on any of your photos. They aren’t benefitting your account in any way.

The service scans your entire Instagram account and then gives you a breakdown of your followers and tells you how many aren’t interacting with your account anymore.

Honestly, who knows?! My main focus on Instagram is to have a true engaging relationship with those loyal followers who actually enjoy seeing my posts. That’s why I can’t stress enough to you all how important it is to “like” or “comment” on my photos 😊.

Good Content is Platform-Specific

Every platform is different. People go to Facebook for a different reason than they go to Instagram, people go to Podcasts for a different reason than they go to Youtube. Sure, your Content across all platforms will be similar (see the above section on being on-brand), but it needs to be adapted to the unique needs of each platform.
