I have not posted lately, every thing I had set out to do came to a halt because of mosquito bite(s) and this past week has not been easy for me. I was hit with a terrible fever, what started like a normal headache turned into something else.

Oh obaa k**a k**a like me, I was alone in the room, I could not get up, do anything, my head was aching severely, my body felt so sore, as if I had been lynched by a mob infact my body's defense was weak, weird imaginations flooded my mind, l began thinking of my funeral and imagining the different faces of my close knitted circle crying. I did not have the energy to make calls. I was like so it is small sickness like fever and headache will kill me eii God, then it dawned on me, that whether you live alone or not, you should always prepare for when situations like this will happen. This is what I decided to do which you can also do too;

1. No matter what kind of pain you are in, never be alone in your room. Try and come outside by every means possible. It was by coming out that my neighbours noticed I was sick and helped me out.

2. Always have an emergency first aid kit which contains basic medications. These should be acquired under the directions of a medical professional. Also ensure that the medications are not expired. Do not abuse them either, if you do not know what to take for any condition please do not do so, seek medical attention first.

3. Try having a contact of a medical professional whom you can readily reach in case of emergency. In addition to this have a contact of someone who lives close. Keep the number on speed dial.

5. Stick to the medications you have been given, continue taking it to the latter.

6. After you have received treatment, take note of what triggered or caused you to fall ill and take steps to protect yourself against it.

7. Lastly, eat fruits and vegetables to boost your immune system.

Sickness does not respect fresh boy or fresh girl, neither is it shy of riches or poverty. Stay safe. YOLO ;You only live once . πŸ˜€

Pursue your dreams, work hard and extra hard but on your own terms. Let your goals be your only competition. Arrange them in a manner that is logically achievable and put timelines to it if it's possible. Remember it's your goals and you decide how to run the whole game. Cheers!!!
