Beat champions Medeama 4-2 on the final day to seal 3rd place. That’s momentum. That’s a coach whose message was getting through.
THE DRAW PROBLEM = TIME NEEDED
Yes, 15 draws hurt. Only 25 goals scored. Coach himself admitted "we still have a lot to improve" in attack back in October. But you don’t fix attack in 11 months. Sir Alex needed 3+ years at Man United. Klopp needed 4 years at Liverpool.
SACKED AFTER 11 MONTHS
Dramani signed a 2-year deal but was let go after just eleven months. He took over a team that finished trophyless in 2024/25 and made them the hardest team to score against in Ghana.
MY TAKE:
You don’t sack a coach who gives you the best defense in the league and a top 3 finish after 11 months, then talk about "long-term ambitions". Long-term needs TIME.
3rd place with the meanest defense isn’t failure — it’s foundation. Sack him now and we’re back to zero next season. Again.
Consistency + patience = trophies. Panic sacking = cycle of 6th place.
