*Confirmed: Amoakohene Was With Asante Akyem North MP When He Was Arrested In The Netherlands*
Fresh details have emerged about the circumstances surrounding the arrest of Ohene Kwame Frimpong, the Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, popularly known as OK Frimpong, after Dutch authorities detained him upon arrival at an airport in the Netherlands.

Amoakohene has confirmed he was on the same flight as the embattled legislator, responding to mounting public pressure over his connection to the incident. A social media user, Hajjia Halima TabarakAllah, had called on Amoakohene to "come clean" because he was with the Asante Akyem North MP at the time of the arrest.
In his response, the minister did not deny being present but sought to broaden the narrative. "We were on the same flight, so what?... Four of your MPs were also on the flight; talk about them," he wrote, revealing that at least four New Patriotic Party Members of Parliament were also

The Parliament of Ghana has confirmed the arrest, though not much has been officially disclosed about the purpose of the MP's visit to the Netherlands.
According to sources familiar with the matter, OK Frimpong is being investigated for alleged financial crimes, including money laundering and suspected romance scams involving an estimated US$32 million, an investigation reportedly linked to the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
