I wrote a book because I kept seeing the same problem.
A business can have a good service, good prices, happy customers and years of experience...
…and still be almost invisible when someone searches for that service on Google.
And in Ghana, I think this is becoming a bigger problem.
People don't only ask their friends anymore. They search.
They check Google.
They check the location.
They check the reviews.
They look at the website.
Then they decide who to call.
That shift is what inspired me to write Local SEO Mastery: Ranking Ghanaian Businesses on Google — A Practical Playbook.
I didn't want to write another SEO book filled with technical jargon and strategies that feel like they were written for businesses in another country.
I wanted something a Ghanaian business owner could actually pick up and use.
So I covered the things that actually matter:
• Setting up and optimising your Google Business Profile
• Finding the searches your customers are actually making
• Getting your website properly optimised for local search
• Fixing inconsistent business information across the web
• Getting genuine local backlinks
• Building a review system
• Improving mobile speed and usability
• Creating content around real customer questions
• Using schema markup
• And, most importantly, putting everything into a practical 90-day action plan
There are also worksheets throughout the book because honestly, reading about SEO without actually doing anything with it won't change much.
Ghana had 26.3 million internet users at the end of 2025, with internet pe*******on at 74.6%.
More people being online means more opportunities for businesses to be discovered online.
But being online isn't the same thing as being visible.
That's the part I want this book to help businesses solve.
If you own a business in Ghana, work with businesses, or you're trying to learn local SEO as a digital marketer, this book is for you.
Local SEO Mastery is now available on my Stelar and Skillspad store.
