"Eating domedo and quaffing beer"
Back in 2014 when I truly began Maisha Digital along with an animator I connected with through Bright Tetteh Ackwerh, it was the height of Dum-sor and we often had to haul Desktop and Monitor via Taxi and even trotro between Lapaz where the animator lived and Ashale Botwe where I lived.
We were broke often, but food wasnt as punishing a cost as it is now, so we found relief in the odd vice, such as pork and guinness or Shandy. And a decade later, my 40yr old heart quakens at the thought of this weekly ritual, which I aptly called 'Heart Attack Friday'
I also consumed way too much coffee and smoked a few packs of ci******es a week, a habit I picked up from the animator.
It was a tiny spit of a hall and chamber that got as hot as an oven when the power was cut, and when it rained, owing to having no foundation and no roof between the ceiling and roofing sheets, it often leaked or flooded.
