The Deputy Minister of Transport stated that, on behalf of the Minister for Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, she had joined Metro Mass Transit management in Egypt for the final inspection of three hundred (300) ISUZU buses slated for delivery to Ghana. She explained that this reflected the Minister’s vision to strengthen public transport through modern, reliable, and efficient mass transit. She noted that the buses would expand fleet capacity, improve service coverage, reduce waiting times, and enhance safety and comfort for commuters, easing daily burdens and contributing to a more orderly and environmentally responsible transport system. She expressed gratitude to Hon. Nikpe for his trust and leadership and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to delivering practical, citizen-focused solutions under the Better Ghana Agenda.
