A South African pastor has sparked controversy and public debate after claiming to have received a vision that the rapture will take place this week.

🪦🙆‍♂️🇬🇭 Alleged Agradaa's lawyer dies suddenly after having breakfast on Sunday morning

Ghanaian lawyer Ali Adam passed away suddenly yesterday morning.

According to family sources, he collapsed while having breakfast and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

As a devoted Muslim, he was laid to rest the same day in line with Islamic tradition.

Following his passing, speculations emerged linking him to evangelist Patricia Asiedua (Nana Agradaa)’s legal team.

But his colleague, Richard Asare Baffour, has dismissed those claims, stressing that Ali Adam never worked on Agradaa’s case.

“It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of our colleague, Ali Adam, who was a valued member of our law firm.

However, I want to emphasize that Ali was not involved in the team that worked on Mama Pat’s case,” Mr. Baffour stated.

He revealed that just hours before his death, Ali had called around 8:00 a.m. to share the good news that some interns at the firm had passed their final exams and would soon be called to the bar.

They were scheduled to meet at 10:00 a.m. to review documents, but news of his death reached him instead.

Mr. Baffour has urged the public to be empathetic in their remarks, noting that the late lawyer left behind a young family.

A woman claiming to be the sister of Akosua Serwaa has dropped serious allegations against Odo Broni, accusing her of destroying Akosua Serwaa’s marriage to highlife legend Daddy Lumba.

In a TikTok video shared online, the woman narrated that Lumba and Serwaa were once the perfect couple, always open and honest with each other, until Odo Broni came into the picture.

According to her, the singer started a secret relationship with Odo Broni, and before Serwaa could make sense of what was happening, they already had three children together.

She alleged that Lumba and his new partner kept their relationship hidden from Serwaa, which left her heartbroken.

To make matters worse, the supposed sister revealed that whenever Lumba was with Serwaa, Odo Broni would allegedly call him countless times in just one hour, creating unbearable tension in the home.

Ken Ofori-Atta gets 2 weeks to challenge OSP arrest warrant

🇬🇭🔥😱 Ken Ofori-Atta has been given a two-week extension to challenge the arrest warrant issued against him by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

Justice Ruby Aryeetey approved the extension on Tuesday, August 26, following a request from the Former Finance Minister's lawyers, led by Frank Asamoah, despite opposition from the OSP.

This ruling gives the former finance minister’s legal team two more weeks to file the necessary processes to contest the warrant.

The original arrest warrant was issued ex parte on February 12, 2025, but the deadline to appeal had expired, prompting the OSP to request more time.

🔥🇬🇭🙌 “When We Were We, Where Were You?”: Nana Ama Mcbrown And Mercy Asiedu Slam Tiktokers Over Disrespect

Ghanaian moviemakers and actresses, Nana Ama McBrown and Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, have schooled some TikTokers over their arrogant and dismissive attitudes towards the old generation.

The two veteran Kumawood stars appeared on-screen together as Nana Ama McBrown hosted a TikTok Live session.

The live session was also joined by young TikTokers Akua Serwaa Brobbey and Akua Nyameyie dived into varying topics of interest to themselves and their followers.

In a video from the love session that has surfaced online, veteran actress Mercy Asiedu encouraged Nana Ama McBrown to brush aside some of the criticism she faces from young TikTokers on social media.

She stated that McBrown was blessed, emphasizing that her path in life had been ordained by God and no one could derail it.

Actress and TV host, Nana Ama McBrown, chimed in to speak about the difficulties actresses of her generation had to undergo before attaining stardom and success.

According to her, this generation stars had it far easier due to TikTok, hence they fail to appreciate the struggles of the older generation.

In her words, "We have suffered; they don’t know what we have gone through. If not for TikTok, you would have also gone through what we did. We have worked hard and suffered so much. A lot of times, we wish you could have the same experience we had, because for a lot of us, those experiences helped shape us.”

Narrating their struggles in Kumawood, which shaped them, and the benefits they derived from it.

McBrown said, “We went wholeheartedly to serve, and God raised us due to our service. Everyone who has acted for a long time in Kumawood has gone through a lot of experiences that have shaped us. We learned how to speak carefully and how to deal with all sorts of people from different walks of life.”

Mercy Asiedu also chimed in to defend their status using the iconic Ghanaian phrase, “When we were we, where were you?”
