DECLARATION OF INTENT

Fellow Comrades of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),
Distinguished Executives, Elders, and Delegates of the Wenchi Constituency,

I, Kassim Mohammed Asiba, humbly and formally declare my intent to contest for the position of Deputy Communications Officer of the NDC, Wenchi Constituency, subject to the approval and mandate of delegates.

This decision is born out of deep commitment to our great party, unwavering loyalty to the NDC’s values, and a firm belief in the power of strategic communication as a tool for party growth, unity, and electoral victory.

Over the years, I have actively supported party activities at the grassroots level, defended the NDC’s vision in both traditional and digital media spaces, and contributed my energy, time, and ideas to advancing our collective cause. I am convinced that Wenchi deserves a disciplined, responsive, and innovative communication team that can effectively project our message, counter misinformation, and mobilise supporters for our party.

I respectfully seek your support, guidance, and prayers as we work together to build a stronger party and secure victory for the NDC in Wenchi and beyond.

Together, let us work hard. Together, let us win.

Signed:
Kassim Mohammed Asiba
Deputy Communications Officer Hopeful
NDC – Wenchi Constituency

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Yet, many people suffering from mental health conditions face rejection, shame, and silence — not because of their illness, but because of stigma.

Let’s be clear: mental illness is not madness, not weakness, and not a crime. It's a health condition that deserves care, compassion, and understanding.

Let’s stop the judgment. Let’s speak up. Let’s support those who are struggling. Because stigma hurts — but support heals.

Together, let’s end the stigma around mental health.

"It's Okay to Ask for Help"

Your mental health matters, and you don’t have to face difficult moments alone. If you’re feeling down, overwhelmed, or lost, remember this: it’s okay to ask for help.

Talk to someone you trust—a teacher, a friend, a family member, or a parent. You’ll be surprised how much lighter your heart can feel just by opening up. Speaking about your feelings is not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of strength, courage, and the first step toward healing.

You are not alone. There is help, there is hope, and there is always someone who cares. 💚

Your mind deserves the same care as your body. Just as you nourish your body with food, rest, and movement, your thoughts and emotions need intentional attention too. Mental well-being isn’t a luxury—it’s the foundation of how you experience life. Yet, in the rush of daily responsibilities, we often ignore our inner world until it demands our attention through stress, exhaustion, or burnout. Today, pause and ask yourself; How am I really feeling? Not the automated "I'm fine," but the honest answer—whether it’s tired, hopeful, overwhelmed, or something in between.

This small act of checking in is a radical form of self-respect. It’s not selfish; it’s how you stay grounded and present for yourself and others. If you notice heaviness, acknowledge it without judgment. If you find joy, savor it. And if you’re unsure, that’s okay too—curiosity is the first step toward healing. Remember: mental health isn’t about being "fixed" but about being seen and heard, starting with your own awareness. You don’t have to navigate it alone—reach out if you need to. 💙
