We are very happy to officially share with you the launch of our very first organised Cultural Festival, a powerful celebration of Gambian identity, tradition, and artistic expression!

From December 20th to 21st, 2025, in the heart of Kololi will come alive as The Smiling Coast Exposure and Hypolink Gambia will host the first edition of Urban Gambia Festival in collaboration West Afriq Connect at The Linkz (formerly Hypolink), Palmer Junction, Kololi.

This 2 days cultural experience will showcase the beauty of Gambia’s rich traditions through live masquerade performances, music, drumming, art blended with vibrant urban energy.

The The Urban Gambia Festival will Feature performances traditional masquerades like the,
Jola’s Kumpo, Wolof’s Zimba, Mandinka’s Kankurang and Sawuruba, Hunting and there will be performances by renowned Gambian artists. Local vendors serving urban style Gambian drinks, DJs | Pool Party, Poetry and Diaspora Engagement
