Yesterday, St. Peter Anglican Cathedral was filled with prayer, gratitude, and joyful celebration as His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was installed as a Lay Canon. Conferred by the Rt. Rev. Felix Odei Annancy, this honorary canonry recognises a lifetime of leadership marked by faith, service, and commitment to both Church and nation.
Family, clergy, and members of the Anglican Communion gathered to witness this new chapter of service. This is a reminder that public duty and discipleship walk hand in hand. May his example continue to inspire us to serve with humility, courage, and hope.

Yesterday, we laid to rest our beloved mother, mentor, and servant of God, Mad. Bernice Barbara Opoku (Ama Konadu).
She was a pillar of St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Nsawam, and a trailblazer in the Guild of St. Mary at the parish, diocesan, and national levels, having been president at all these levels.
Her life was a testimony of faith, strength, and generational impact. We thank God for the gift she was to the Diocese of Koforidua and to the entire Church.
Da yie, Mama. Rest well in the Lord. Your works will surely follow you.

The remains VENERABLE FRANCIS ONESIMUS OBENG (Archdeacon of Oda Archdeaconry)in the Anglican Diocese of Koforidua, was interred [Saturday, 7th June, 2025] after a solemn burial and memorial service held in his honour at the St. Andrews Anglican Church ~ Akim Oda.
The funeral service was officiated by the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Koforidua, Rt. Rev. Felix Odei Annancy, and assisted by the Very Rev. Fr. Samael Eding Parddy - Dean of the Cathedral Church - St. Peter - Koforidua and other clergies from the diocese and sister churches, was heavily attended by people from far and near.
