People visit your profile because of your Reels and single image infographics, but they follow you for your carousels.

Carousels are so value-packed that they are the best converters from profile visitors to followers and fans.

So in order to earn these new fans, you need to avoid these 7 mistakes in your carousels.

1) Not using templates
2) Using crazy fonts
3) Having weird spacing
4) Having a bad flow layout
5) Using too many colors
6) Using low-quality images
7) Not using emotion to connect.

If you take a break on Instagram it will have an effect on your engagement and in turn, on your reach.

After my live with , he highly recommended that I should just start a new account for this new business. It made sense to start from scratch since I had only posted 14 posts so it wouldn't take so much time to transfer everything over.

However, if you just took a break and want to start posting the same content on the same page, I recommend doing these tricks to increase engagement, shared yesterday by :

1) DM the followers who were engaging with your content before and let them know you are coming back, make it personal.
2) Post to stories and announce your return with your new goals! I did a countdown for this.
3) Start engaging with your followers, do this daily.
4) Fill up your first 9 posts with high-value content to remind everyone they missed you!
5) Create high-performing content: reels (for reach) and carousels (for action).
6) Get back to your routine of posting consistently. That can mean every day, every 2-3 days, as long as it is consistent.

What I learned from being heavily in the "Instagram game" for 7 days straight. I hope these tips help you skip a couple steps! Moving forward, I am going to give additional focus to pre plan my day so to efficiently save as much time as possible.

I BET YOU ARE MAKING THIS MISTAKE! I definitely was for a long time.

You are discouraged from posting often because you are too busy. You are creating new content every single time, each time looking for and editing similar elements.

If consistent, valuable content creation is what is going to make a change for your business in terms of engagement and conversions (it is!), you are going to need to post a lot more (good) content. And this is time consuming. But it can be 10x faster if you follow these quick tips here!

Success on Instagram is quite similar to success in life, as long as you have the right attitude, are taking action by providing value, doing it consistently, and building genuine relationships, you WILL be successful. The OOOH’s and AAAH’s of REELS!🤯
TONS of people, regardless of account size, are exploding their reach using IG reels. Personal story time: On my other account , I exploded on reels and got 40K new followers in 3 WEEKS because of Reels!!! WHAAAT?😱 I kid you not.

Reels are like fish bait. You publish your content and ‘reel’ back in followers. BUT, if you are a business account, you need to specifically target your ideal client. Otherwise you will have a bunch of people that will never buy from you. You gotta have the right content to bring in the right followers. Reels, like any other content type, needs to be about the followers you want to get “your ideal client” and not about you. You have to get their attention by giving them something they need right now.

Study successful reels, experiment and most importantly, have fun and show your personality!

MY CAPTION STRATEGY and Why I needed to share it with you.

In the captions section, you have 125 characters before the “...more” shows up, so hook your reader and build their curiosity, but... don’t give them the bait quite yet. This section of the caption is called “above the fold”.

Below the fold, you need them to feel like they can relate! 1) Talk about common pain points, what causes the readers to relate to your post but don’t repeat the same points mentioned in your actual post. In the caption, add additional points to clarify.

2) Share an example or a personal story. Sneak in a bonus tip that only the people who have read your caption this far can get!!

3) And very importantly use your post-specific keywords to optimise your SEO so more people find your post when they search for your keywords. For example, in this post about captions, I am using the word “caption” over and over again.

4) Be brave and tell them exactly what to do next! By the way, you are going to need to read this post again, so save it for later.

REMEMBER: Captions can literally make someone who randomly found you through a hashtag (more on hashtags soon!) into someone who purchases from you.
