Gallery Kourd - Fine Art Contemporary Art The history of Kourd gallery is rooted in Constantinople and Smyrna of the 19th century.

Since then, the Kourdoglanian family has been engaged in the trade of antiquities as well as contemporary art. In 1922, the gallery relocates to Athens to commence its commercial activities in the areas of Monastiraki & Kolonaki (Greece), as well as in London (Great Britain), Baltimore (USA) and Lucerne (Switzerland). The founder of the gallery throughout the 20th century and the person who creates and inspires new steps into trade and art in Athens is John Kourd. Nowadays, the gallery is situated in a state-of-the-art building at the foot of Lycabettus hill, on Kassianis street. Director of the gallery is Haik J Kourdoglanian-Kourd, offspring of John Kourd. Gallery’s aim is to exhibit collections of older and contemporary Greek Art as well as to promote and enhance the work of every talented contemporary artist.
