We had the opportunity to delve into the archives of the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company. Within their incredible archive, we observed the beauty of the hand-drawn letterforms, as used on the engineering and technical drawings of the 20th century.

And so, we made a font after the legend in the original Marathon Dam drawings. A font that remains contemporary and is now offered at no cost!

We have been working on a big, complex and sweet project, the exhibition "Papadopoulos 100: The history of the Company 1922-2022", recently inaugurated at the Benaki Museum, in Athens.

Papadopoulos is a company interweaved with the childhoods (and adulthoods) of everyone growing up in Greece for the past hundred years. For we all cherished their biscuits and snacks! In addition, this is one of the few centennial companies in the country.

After delving into the company archives, we had the opportunity to study, work on and discover an amazing archive. In close collaboration with superb professionals Spyros Kizis, Erato Koutsoudaki, Myrto Delivoria Painter & Illustrator and a lot more (for more detailed credits, see comments.)

Out studio supported the information design (for exhibits and wall-mounted information), promotional design, 3D animations and digital interactive games.

More to follow in the coming weeks. We're not showing you much - go and visit!

Very proud to present the construction of the Marathon Dam 4K video, as commissioned by the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP S.A.).

After delving into the amazing company archive, we researched the construction, operation and sequence of events that unfolded 90 years ago. The superb technical drawings cover almost everything: from the topographic layout, all the way down to the minute detail of machine cogs. Combined with historical photographs and current topographic models, we reconstructed the works in a 10 minute long video.

The work was rigorous and multidisciplinary, covering much research, reverse-engineering and, naturally, a lot of 3D modelling and animation - presenting also temporary structures and machines for the first time; most were dismantled after the completion of this massively-important project.

The collaboration was exceptional and we were given access to this stunning, organised and well-preserved archive. With the support of historians, engineers, architects, museologists and archivists - as well as musicians and 3D artists... here it is (slightly delayed by the pandemic)! A truly multi-disciplinary piece of work that we can be proud of.
