Born in Athens, she pursued Graphic Arts and Interior Design at AKTO Art & Design College, graduating with distinction. Early in her studies, she received recognition from the Ministry of Health for her award-winning Anti-Smoking Campaign poster. Guided by her professor, painter Thanasis Makris, she continued to refine her skills in Freehand Drawing at the open studios of the Athens School of Fine
Arts, having been recognized as an exceptional emerging talent. Her continuous professional scholarship includes the course "The History of the Book in the Early Modern Period: 1450-1800" at Trinity College Dublin and "Painting with Natural Pigments" at Accademia del Lusso, Italy. She has also completed the Paleography program at MIET alongside specialized seminars on Greek typography and book culture. Elena has served on the Board of Directors of the Greek Graphic Designers Association. She collaborates with many of Greece’s leading publishing houses in art direction, typographic editing, book layout, cover design, and social-media visuals. Her portfolio includes numerous best-selling book covers; as well as the visual identity of the Athens Photo World international festival; the World Health Organization exhibition "Focusing on Health"; the retrospective exhibition of Yannis Behrakis; other exhibitions at the SNFCC, the Megaron Athens Concert Hall, and the National Garden; and the alphabet books of the Griko dialect for the EU project "Pos Matome Griko". She has taught Graphic Arts at Intergraphics and Ornerakis Art School, and has also taught painting to children. Her work has been featured in publications in Greece and internationally. In 2005, she curated the exhibition "Vlepo — Half a Century of Greek Graphic Designers" at the Benaki Museum. She has contributed pro-bono design work to Make-A-Wish Greece, the International Parthenon Sculptures Action Committee,
