Just because the label says doesn't necessarly mean that the product we are consuming is "healthy" on the contrary, it's a marketing tactic used with the outcome to 📈 food sales. FDA has released a new definition ⚖️ for the term. The move is targeted at certain items, that claim to be good for us, and in some cases, these claims are misleading or not supported by scientific evidence

US FDA allows new claim that yogurt may reduce diabetes risk
"Eating yogurt regularly, at least 2 cups (3 servings) per week, may reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes according to limited scientific evidence."

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday said it would allow yogurt makers to say that the dairy product may reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes as more Americans die from the disease and take medications like Ozempic to battle it.
