Excited to receive an EBGE Merit Award for the logo of

Plyta’s Unknown Cinema (PUC) is a three-year research project dedicated to the life and work of Maria Plyta, the first Greek woman film director.

The logo was developed around the idea of the “unknown”, exploring absence, fragmentation, archival traces, and rediscovery through typography and visual form.

Special thanks to .kaklamanidou, who leads PUC, everyone involved in the project, and the jury for this recognition.

unfolds as a system rather than a single event — a network of experiences across the city, where the wine exhibition, restaurants and bars merge into one continuous narrative.

The visual identity is built on contrast: a bold typographic structure set against a signature monochrome orange, paired with a series of silhouetted “explorers” that introduce a human, playful layer. A balance between precision and discovery.

Designed as a flexible, multi-application system — from posters and wine lists to spatial and motion graphics — the identity adapts, expands and evolves with every new touchpoint.

Branding design for .skg — a q***r spot in Thessaloniki where norms turn upside down.
The logo is built as a custom collage of typefaces, reflecting the pastiche of q***r culture, while its bold, maximal character creates a sharp contrast with the notion of the prefix “micro-”
