We build amazing things, with a focus on web, mobile apps, and anything digital. We do a lot of work for Silicon Valley web startups, and we also make our own ideas just for fun. Why are we called 4 Acertijos?
4 Acertijos was born from a vision: unite the most talented, creative, and passionate people under one roof. Our very first recruitment ad was an anonymous display of 4 puzzles, with no indication of who was behind it. Solving the 4 puzzles correctly would reveal a phone number, where the puzzle solver could call our anonymous secretary and schedule an interview (still not knowing who we were!). By doing this, we found our first hires - people who are intelligent, curious, and daring enough to spend their weekend solving puzzles with no knowledge of what would result. Since then, all of our recruitment campaigns have been based on solving puzzles, and we only bring on people who not only have talent and skills, but also have a curious, daring, and playful puzzle-solving attitude. The name 4 Acertijos comes from our first recruitment process of 4 puzzles. We kept the name because it's everything we stand for. What is our logo? Our logo is a colorful tangram. A tangram is a game of 7 pieces, where the goal is to re-arrange the pieces into various recognizable shapes. We use the tangram as a logo because it represents everything about us. In order to build tangram shapes, you need a mix of curiousity, intelligence, creativity, persistence, and a can-do attitude. Also, while the 7 pieces are extremely simple in concept, they provide limitless creation possibilities.
