Base salary PLUS per project commission for full time employees
Through conceptualization, creation and implementation of print media, social media advertising, and employment branding the Graphic Designer/Videographer will help EMTEC achieve company objectives.
Incumbent will be responsible for bringing concepts and ideas to life through innovative design and captivating copy, in a way that produces superior performance. The right candidate will have an exceptional personal portfolio—reflecting a honed style, and possess the talent, experience and spirit to excel.
Incumbent will interface with internal team members and must possess the ability to communicate design process and elements in a clear, concise, and objective manner. Must be a self-starter and team player, able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Duties and responsibilities for our various clients and internal:
Graphic Design
Upholds and elevates graphic design standards.
Develops and designs all advertising to support print advertising efforts while ensuring consistency with, and helping influence, the overall marketing strategy.
Creates and delivers strong creative that maximizes target audience response and exceeds company’s goals.
Assists in building, maintaining and managing a design asset library, brand standards and guidelines, logos and style guides.
Other related duties as assigned.
Videography
Gather and propose ideas and topics for videos
Assist in content development and message strategy
Prepare video for multi-media formats including web, and other digital platforms
Design after affects as needed including motion graphics, layout, and animation
Performs edits/final cuts for final video presentations
Print Media and Advertising
Delivers accurate and compelling and creative in a timely fashion, ahead of publisher deadlines.
Monitors the performance of creatives providing insights on how creative may be altered to improve results.
Develops processes to improve print creative distribution efficiency.
Manages all social media advertising including Facebook ads, to grow channel and exceed lead goals.
Adheres to budgets, timelines and work plans to ensure efforts support departmental and company objectives.
Employment Branding
Assists with concept development and implementation of employment branding standards and ensures alignment with overall brand.
Develops creative to support all employment brand initiatives, inclusive of on and off line media, owned and third-party properties.
Supports content and social media activities with marketing team as required.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of visual problem-solving, design principles, visual hierarchy, layout and composition, use of color, and typography.
Associates in related field preferred.
2+ years of combined experience
Candidates must possess strong verbal, writing and project management skills, and be eager to work in a fast-paced environment and able to manage a diverse workload.
Ability to balance creativity with analytical thinking.
Highly organized, detail orientated and able to meet deadlines in a high-performance culture.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a creative environment.
