FIBA 3x3 World Tour - Hong Kong Masters 2023
Standing at the top of the FIBA 3x3 basketball, the Hong Kong Masters returns on 25 and 26 November 2023. The latest version of the annual event will be held on the specially built basketball court at the Victoria Park, with 16 teams competing for the title.
Following the success of the Hong Kong Masters 2022, M1 Group Limited continues as the organizer, orchestrating again all the exciting and passionate games for the top ranking elite teams in the world. Application for the `Major Sports Event’
has been submitted, seeking to validate the significance of the event.
16 teams from all over the world will compete in Hong Kong Masters 2023, including the winner of the Hong Kong Quest 2023, which will be held in October 2023. 10 out of the 16 teams would enter into the group stage directly,whilst the remaining 6 teams would be competing in 2 groups of qualifying draw.
Like previous years, the Hong Kong Masters 2023 has its site at the Victoria Park with World Tour standard canopy. The stands could accommodate 1,000 spectators.
For promoting 3x3 in Hong Kong,there would be at least 400 tickets of the qualifying draw reserved for schools and social welfare organizations. Added to that, another 160 tickets would be reserved to the `Project 3x3’ school promotion scheme. Furthermore, tickets will also be allocated to members of the Basketball Association Hong Kong, China.
M1 Group Limited also announces the partnership of Mongolian Mining Corporation (00975), as known as MMC, a listed company in Hong Kong.
MMC is currently sponsoring two Mongolia 3x3 professional teams, and would extend their effort in developing 3x3 by supporting local long-term training team: Team Kai Tak, to compete in the Sansar Challenger in September 2023. Other support includes the invitation of teams and players to Mongolia for training.
Team Kai Tak would join the Hong Kong Quest 2023, competing for a place in the Hong Kong Master 2023 and a chance to shine in the international stage.
