🍡 is so much fun to eat!!🍡This vegetarian Indian street snack requires a bit of DIY to enjoy. But that’s half the fun! 💪🏻Crack open the little, hollow chip puff (deep fried puri bread): tap tap the top to make a small opening. Careful not to squeeze or tap too hard! You don’t want to crush it before it reaches your taste buds 🥔Fill the crispy little puff with potato pieces, chickpeas, onion 🍵Add some masala (spiced, not spicy) broth to fill the puff 🎉Quickly pop it in your mouth before the liquid soaks through the puff, or leaks! Enjoy the fresh pop of flavor!! 😋 The broth is chilled and the potato mixture is at room temperature. Although they are traditionally sold as street food, I have yet to have the pleasure to enjoy that experience due to fear of eating cart food in India😅 But the experience is no less fun at a restaurant (when you can find it on the menu) or at a friend’s home🙃 Especially when sharing the snack together🤗 Have you given these little pops of flavor a try?
