The HKIE – Safety Specialist Committee (SSC) successfully hosted its 31st Anniversary Dinner cm Design For Safety Excellence Award 2026 Presentation Ceremony recently.

It was an inspiring evening bringing together over 400 engineering professionals, industry leaders, and government officials to celebrate the shared commitment to safety excellence in engineering.

The event kicked off with a march-in and opening ceremony led by the Guest of Honour, Ir Ricky Lau, JP – Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), together with Ir Hon Aaron BOK Kwok
-ming, LegCo Member, and other distinguished guests. This was followed by an uplifting performance by True Colours Symphony, featuring visually impaired musicians who moved the audience with their talent and resilience, a spectacular vocal performance by Ms Hedy Chan (海兒), and exciting lucky draw sessions.

Insight Marketing was honoured to partner with the HKIE – Safety Specialist Committee as the award logistics provider and event management team for the ceremony. This marks our second year supporting this impactful project.

We always enjoy organising regional events — they give us the opportunity to collaborate with partners from around the world. Recently we supported Bank J. Safra Sarasin with their Investment Outlook events in Hong Kong, Singapore and Jakarta. It was a pleasure to work with the bank’s financial experts from Switzerland, our local partners in Singapore and Jakarta, and colleagues in the Hong Kong office.

Bringing these events together was both a rewarding experience and an enjoyable challenge. We’re proud of the positive outcomes and grateful for the excellent feedback from our client.
