It’s a throwback to a remarkable experience in October.

Langham Place brought the Halloween spirit to life with two exciting events: the world’s first Harry Potter pop-up store and the captivating exhibition “Mysterious B&W Mongkok” by 電笠 X Pen So.

To kick things off with a bang, a mysterious stunt took place in early October. A group in black capes wandered through the mall, showcasing their enchanting “superpowers”, like dimension teleportation, summoning spells, and telekinesis. 😊

The stunt quickly gained traction on Instagram and Threads, sparking numerous discussions through reposts and quotes. People became curious about what was happening at Langham Place. This buzz was followed by a series of engaging social media interactions that successfully converted online interest into offline attendance.

Hong Kong is a vibrant melting pot of Eastern and Western cultures, and Gweilo Beer perfectly embodies this fusion. Founded by three gweilos who have made Hong Kong their home for decades, Gweilo Craft Beer artfully combines the techniques of Western brewing with the rich flavours of the East. To highlight the brand’s uniqueness, we adopted a theme that playfully captures this East-West connection: “Gweilo Herbal Tea 鬼佬涼茶”, a popular Cantonese slang term for “beer”🍺!

Gweilo partnered with Kung Lee, a traditional herbal tea shop in Central that has been serving customers since 1948, to create a one-of-a-kind pop-up “Gweilo Herbal Tea Shop”. In addition, Gweilo brewed a special craft beer infused with honeysuckle and the beloved Kung Lee sugar cane juice! Let's celebrate the spirit of East-meets-West with Gweilo x Kung Lee. Cheers! 🤩
