Moj Unikom, an advanced and feature-packed platform that helps the citizens of Osijek track their garbage collection dates, makes it easier to learn about proper garbage recycling, enables them to find the closest recycling yard and pay for their recycling and garbage collection utilities with ease and much much more. As a designer, I'm very proud of this project. It's, design-wise, my first complete project since I entered the industry as Gauss' in-house designer. Our team was great, my colleagues were patient, supportive and very experienced. Complete research has been done, I built user journeys, styleguide, icons, components, and typography, and devised the whole visual identity to make the app and website an original, appealing and before all, a usable experience. It was no small feat because the general group of users are adult citizens aged 18 - 99+ so everything needed to be as simple and straightforward as possible. The starting point was UNIKOM's visual identity, their own design brief, and Google's Material Design guidelines which I chose as a foundation for designing the grid, components and interface. The project followed the mobile-first principle.
