Logo and branding for ''LAB 9 - flowers & objects shop''. LAB 9 opened its doors in the heart of Volosko (Croatia), by Croatian floral artist Christina Cianci LAB 9

There’s no doubt that logo designers would agree that minimalism is what makes a logo memorable and timeless. Searching for simplistic and minimalist typography for the logo might be overwhelming given the number of sans-serif typefaces available out there.

This logo’s typography is derived from the modern sans serif typeface Mukta. In order to achieve the appropriate aesthetic, some modifications are made, like a tiny increase in shape boldness for improved visibility and preformed number 9.

According to color psychology, green is the easiest color for the eye to process. In this branding story, the green color serves to conjure feelings of freshness, calmness and beauty of nature. The black color in the logo is chosen as a symbolic meaning of mastery, power and sophistication.
