👊We are urgently looking for an Anchor watch for the barge.
🌎Licence, Basic safety and Boattransfer
🌎Start tomorrow!
Monitoring the vessel's position to ensure it is not dragging anchor.
Checking the anchor cable direction and tension for any unusual movement.
Monitoring weather, wind, tide, current, and sea conditions that could affect the vessel's safety.
Maintaining a proper lookout for nearby vessels, floating objects, or other hazards.
Ensuring the vessel maintains a safe distance from surrounding ships and obstructions.
Keeping the main engine and propulsion system in the required state of readiness, if instructed by the Master.
Monitoring navigation equipment, including GPS, radar, AIS, and anchor alarms.
Maintaining communication with port authorities, VTS, or nearby vessels when required.
Conducting regular security rounds and monitoring access to the vessel.
Reporting any abnormal situations immediately to the Master, such as dragging anchor, deteriorating weather, or approaching traffic.
Recording all relevant observations, weather conditions, position checks, and significant events in the bridge logbook.
