A Budapest FotóFesztivál történetében mérföldkőnek számító első nemzetközi pályázata a Women’s Eye (Női Szem) a kortárs női alkotók vizuális gondolkodásmódjába enged betekintést. A tárlat a fotográfiára nem csupán a képi leképezés eszközeként, hanem olyan szubjektív szűrőként tekint, amelyen keresztül a valóság megfigyelése és újrafogalmazása zajlik. A bemutatott művek a magánszféra és a külvilág közötti határvonalakat járják körül, az elmélyült, személyes vallomásoktól kezdve a határozottabb társadalmi állásfoglalásokig. A milestone in the history of the Budapest Photo Festival, its first international open call offers an insight into the visual mindset of contemporary female creators. The exhibition views photography not merely as a tool for pictorial representation, but as a subjective filter through which the observation and redefinition of reality take place. The presented works explore the boundaries between the private sphere and the outside world, ranging from profound, personal confessions to more assertive social statements. The exhibition was realized with the support of Pigmenta Art Print Lab.

Szerdán, április 15. 18 órakor nyit printshopunk egyik legkedveltebb alkotójának, Kügerl Johanna egyéni „Itt van a nyelvem hegyén” című kiállítása az Editory terében.

Johanna új munkákkal is jelentkezik, melyeken keresztül az étkezéshez kapcsolódó kollektív emlékezet működését vizsgálja. Újdonságként a munkák már elérhetőek keretezett változatban is, 3 színben, plexivel védve!

On Wednesday, April 15 at 6 PM, we are opening a solo exhibition of Johanna Kügerl titled “It’s on the Tip of My Tongue” by one of the most beloved artists of our print shop, in the .

Johanna presents new works in which she explores the functioning of collective memory connected to food and eating. As a new addition, the works are now also available in framed versions, in three different colors, protected with plexiglass.
The pieces evoke cultural and emotional layers rooted in the everyday experiences of Eastern Europe. In recent years, the material culture of the socialist era has re-emerged both in domestic interiors and in contemporary art. Bagged milk in a plastic holder, a jar of homemade broth prepared for the road, or a punch petit four are at once concrete and symbolic—motifs tied to stories and human connections.

Tegnap este megnyílt a 10. Budapest Photo Festival Women’s Eye című nemzetközi csoportos kiállítása a Brody House -ban.

A tárlat a kortárs női alkotók vizuális gondolkodásmódjába enged betekintést, és egészen május 10-ig látogatható.

Külön öröm számunkra, hogy a kiállítás a Pigmenta Art Print Lab támogatásával valósult meg – a nyomatok Hahnemühle Luster papírra készültek.

The international group exhibition Women’s Eye of the 10th Budapest Photo Festival opened last night at Brody House.

The exhibition offers insight into the visual thinking of contemporary female artists and is on view until May 10.

We are proud that the exhibition was supported by Pigmenta Art Print Lab – all prints were produced on Hahnemühle Luster paper.

The pop-up exhibition of Denis O’Regan, the photographer of Freddie Mercury, opens tomorrow at 6:00 PM in the foyer of House of Music Hungary / , with the artist himself in attendance.

The prints were produced by Pigmenta on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta paper and Hahnemühle Cézanne Canvas.

O’Regan, one of the most influential photographers in rock and pop history, offers a rare insight into the visual world of music through this exhibition: iconic moments, behind-the-scenes scenes, and legendary performers come to life through his images.

Holnap 18:00-kor nyílik Freddie Mercury fotósának, Denis O’Regan-nek a pop-up kiállítása a előcsarnokában – melyen maga a művész is részt vesz. A nyomatokat a Pigmenta, Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta papírr és Hahnemühle Cézanne Canvas vászonra nyomtatta.

Palkó György nagyszabású fotókiállítása nyílt a Millennium Háza / NEO Kortárs Művészeti Tér-ban. Az egyik legmeghatározóbb magyar építészeti fotográfus 80 munkája látható egészen április 19-ig.

A kiállítás anyagát a Pigmenta Art Print Lab nyomtatta, Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Silk papírra.

A major photography exhibition by György Palkó has opened at the Millennium House. Around 80 works by one of Hungary’s most influential architectural photographers are on view until April 19.
