Public affairs in CEE is becoming increasingly complex - while many markets operate under a single EU framework, others follow different regulatory systems shaped by their own political and economic priorities. These variations create significant challenges for organisations, directly influencing strategy, timing, and risk when operating across multiple markets. 🌍

On 11 December, at the Public Affairs Congress in Warsaw, Grayling will host a debate on how companies can navigate these diverging regulatory landscapes and build resilience in a region undergoing rapid transformation driven by energy, tech, sustainability as well as geopolitical and trade risks. 🔍⚡

The recently concluded 2025 NATO Summit marked a pivotal moment for the Alliance, with leaders agreeing to an increase in defence spending - raising the target from 2% to 5% of GDP by 2035. 📈 This historic decision, driven by escalating global security threats and renewed U.S. pressure, underscores the urgent need for enhanced defence capabilities.

In parallel, the EU’s new SAFE Regulation introduces a €150 billion loan instrument to boost the continent’s defence industrial base. It prioritises joint procurement projects between Member States, encouraging interoperability, economies of scale, and strategic cooperation — especially in regions like Central and Eastern Europe.

Our latest report delves into how these developments impact the CEE region, which is emerging as a key pillar of NATO’s forward defence posture.

Bringing travel insights to the table with tacos! 🌮✈️

As Grayling Hungary, we had the pleasure of organizing the Visa x MBH Bank Travel Intentions press event at the colorful and cozy TODO Mexican restaurant in Budapest.

With summer on the horizon, the event provided the perfect setting to share highlights from Visa’s latest Travel Intentions Study with key media representatives. Together with MBH Bank, we explored how Hungarian travelers are planning for 2025 from the rising popularity of domestic trips to the growing trust in digital and contactless payments while abroad.

Grayling Hungary’s Corporate Team was recently honoured to contribute to the organization of the kick-off press event for Visa’s global She’s Next program in Hungary, for the third time! The program supports female entrepreneurs with 3 million HUF in financial funding and a one-year mentorship program, helping them take their businesses to the next level. 🎉

As PR professionals, securing strong media presence is key to amplifying important messages. For this event, we successfully ensured extensive coverage in the Hungarian press by hosting 15 media representatives, who joined us to report on the initiative. 📰

During the event, attendees gained valuable insights from presentations on a recent report supported by Visa, conducted by Budapest University of Economics and Business as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) on female entrepreneurship, followed by an inspiring roundtable discussion moderated by D. Tóth Kriszta, the program’s ambassador, featuring Impact Hub Budapest and former She’s Next winners.

✨ Egy felejthetetlen megnyitó Budapesten! ✨
Február 3-án megnyitotta kapuit az Al Habtoor Palace Budapest, a dubaji vendéglátás új, európai gyöngyszeme. Büszkék vagyunk rá, hogy ügynökségünk is hozzájárulhatott ehhez a különleges eseményhez! Csapatunk nemcsak a sajtókapcsolatokat és a médiamegjelenéseket menedzselte, hanem az influencerek bevonását is koordinálta, hogy a megnyitó híre minél szélesebb körben eljusson a közönséghez.

Nem ez volt az első alkalom, hogy egy ikonikus budapesti szálloda nyitásán dolgoztunk. Tapasztalatunkra építve ezúttal is egy emlékezetes és sikeres kampányt valósítottunk meg. Az eredmény?
