Three years ago, the Greek Catholic Museum opened its doors with a permanent exhibition exploring the visual and spiritual culture of the Hungarian Greek Catholic Church.

Through liturgical objects, sacred artworks, archival materials, and immersive media, the exhibition presents a unique cultural heritage shaped by both Eastern and Western traditions. A contemporary exhibition language, interactive storytelling, and a visual identity inspired by Byzantine and Carpathian traditions create an experience accessible to all generations.

Three years ago, the world’s first Greek Catholic museum opened its doors, and it was a great honor for us to take part in designing both the permanent exhibition and the museum’s complete visual identity. We truly enjoyed collaborating with Irén Szabó and the museum team, and were inspired by the openness, sensitivity, and dedication with which they approached the presentation of Greek Catholic cultural heritage.

The permanent exhibition presents the unique visual and spiritual world of the Hungarian Greek Catholic Church through liturgical objects, ecclesiastical artworks, manuscripts, and multimedia installations. Our goal throughout the exhibition and identity design process was to translate this rich historical material into a contemporary and accessible visual language.

Rather than creating a conventional museum display, we approached the space as an atmospheric, intuitive, and inclusive experience, where graphic elements, typography, lighting, sound, and interactive content work together to shape the visitor journey. The concept draws inspiration from the visual traditions of Byzantine and Carpathian ecclesiastical art, reinterpreted through clean contemporary design tools in a way that remains engaging and accessible for all generations.

On May 8th, the very first Somalia National Pavilion officially opened, a historic day.

Through the profound work of Ayan Farah, Asmaa Jama, and Warsan Shire, our oral heritage has been translated into physical space. The pavilion was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism and the Director of the National Museum of Somalia.

We were honored to share this milestone with delegates from the Somali global community, partners, family and friends, and the wider art community.

We are incredibly grateful to our artists, and to the Somali community whose love and belief brought us here.

The doors are open. Welcome to SADDEXLEEY.

BMK – BUDAPEST CULTURAL CENTER

The BMK identity is built on a modular visual system representing cultural connection, community networks, and the diversity of Budapest. The interlocking geometric forms act as visual metaphors for interaction, collaboration, and continuous cultural exchange. The system emphasizes BMK’s role as a cultural hub connecting communities, institutions, and programs. The flexible visual language functions seamlessly across both print and digital platforms while creating a strong and recognizable identity. The distinctive typography and dynamic pattern system reinforce the image of an open, progressive, and inclusive cultural platform.

It was a special opportunity for us to create the new identity for BMK Budapest Cultural Center. The system was designed to support a more open, flexible, and contemporary cultural presence for the institution and the city itself. We hope the new visual language can contribute to creating even more ambitious, diverse, and inspiring cultural experiences worthy of Budapest’s dynamic cultural scene.

On May 18, 2026, Néprajzi Múzeum opens its new temporary exhibition, Rituals of Beauty, featuring a selection of photographs from anthropologist Gustaaf Verswijver’s decades-long fieldwork in the Amazon. The exhibition offers insight into the everyday life, ceremonies, and visual culture of the Mebengokre (Kayapó) communities. Verswijver began his research in the mid-1970s in an isolated Amazonian village that at the time had very limited contact with the outside world. He has continued his work ever since, regularly returning to the community, which today actively preserves its cultural identity despite the increasing presence of globalization and the Brazilian state.

SADDEXLEEY

For its first participation in La Biennale di Venezia, Somalia presents a pavilion structured as a poetic form.

Built on three – three artists, three registers, three relations. SADDEXLEEY unfolds through repetition, variation, and rhythm.
