Creating the identity for Setiabudhi Social Club. A premium padel court in North Bandung, surrounded by greenery and refined architecture by .co .

The logo takes the form of a balanced tree, symbolizing growth and connection. Built within a circular shape for a timeless feel, the branches are crafted from sliced circles inspired by the motion of a padel ball. The intertwining lines reflect the social side of the club.

My highlight from this museum hopping:
The 20th Olympic Games Identity Design by Otl Aicher (1972) / slide 5&6

It’s not just about the visuals, but the system behind it. Every element from pictograms to colors and typography was built with clear logic, creating a universal language that guides people effortlessly.

It’s design for clarity, function, and experience at a massive scale.

And it became the foundation of wayfinding design worldwide (airports, public spaces, etc.).

Strolling through museums and galleries in Tokyo, then suddenly, everything we learned in college… right in front of me at

Kinda gave me a flashback of what design is actually supposed to be.
Not trends. Not just visuals.
But thinking. Purpose. Responsibility.

Some reminders from the maestros:
