To say it is slow is an understatement 😅😅
It often surprises me how a little highlight can change the whole look.

I was hesitating a lot when I did the eyebrow. I ended up doing a color block of green, but as soon as I fill in the purple underneath, I know I need to add something to make it less flat.

So a few stitches of light green went into the corners and I'm liking it!

Life doesn't always go according to plan. But wmthe good news is, it is entirely up to us what we want to do with the ever changing situations. What a privilege to be alive!

I've lost track when I last worked on this piece. Tonight I had a little bit of spare time and so I sit and just let my fingers took the lead.

This time I worked on the ears. It was supposed to be red, orange, and yellow - horizontally. The idea of having different shades of yellow vertically just suddenly popped after I stitched the orange.

Inspiration strikes with no warning and it is always interesting to see where it leads us.

Sometimes I wonder, how different our life would be if we followed each of our intuition instead of sticking to our fears?

It's a late night update on this mystical creature. Progress has been really slow because life happens 24/7. So, the previous interesting (read: poor 😂) choice of pink shades has to continue as I'm making symmetrical colors. I wonder if adding a dark color on the outside will help 🤔

Well, let's make it a problem for another day 😬

I really hope this one will turn out well as I have a plan for this piece. Let's see if the universe listens and grants my wish!

It's October and here I am stitching for Christmas 😅
Libo Studio is still around! Yes, just with very little update lately as I'd have to grow 10 more arms and 3 more heads to catch up with everything 🤪

This sleepy cat will be flying to Jakarta soon to make Christmas even jollier for the mystery receiver 🎅🎅

Exciting or intimidating? 😅 This is half the pile of stock that I need to finish by the 20th of this month. Not including cards that usually take weeks.

I just hope all the stitches can find loving hands that will cherish them 🫶

Courage doesn't occur when you feel confident or ready to take on something. I found courage exactly at the opposite crux. It is when you're at the most scared, most doubtful, and yet... you continued on. That is courage.

Courage doesn't bloom instantly into a fiery red spirit. It starts from the smallest seeds of hope that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes, the seeds are clearly visible, and sometimes, they're so fragile that they're nearly translucent. But they are there.

Courage starts from something small. When you nurture it with acceptance and actions, it slowly transforms from a pale light into fierce inferno.

My hope is for all women to wear their courage like a crown. Unapologetic, ready to take on whatever lies ahead. Anyone can be courageous, and you don't have to be perfect first.

Like this piece, I'm showing my courage through a cauldron of colors, all the fabric puckerings, and a thin silhouette of a woman who carries heavy dreams - made possible by her crown of courage.

Mistakes are part of growth. Without it, our lessons will not be complete. Trying to be perfect, not wanting to acknowledge mistakes or even the possibility of making one, will not bring us where we want to be.

It takes courage to admit your mistake. It also takes commitment to fix it. But I sincerely believe it is worth the effort, no matter at what stage you are.

It still amazes me how a single color could change an entire look. Once the fuschia kicks in, the whole bloom looks luminescent ❤️🩷🧡
