The city of Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands, its financial and cultural center.

Next to the shop windows are shops where you can buy any accessories for doing "this business", printed and video products, postcards, two-digit souvenirs, revealing clothes.
One of the walls of the working room has been transformed into a showcase. Behind it, you can see the decoration, as a rule, of a tiny chamber. Usually there is a modest bed, a bedside table, a washbasin, part of the assortment from the neighboring s*x shops. When one of the showcases suddenly closes with a curtain, it means that a customer has come inside, and the girl (or woman, or young man, or even something in between) is busy.
Trading one's body is a completely natural activity, not worthy of condemnation in Amsterdam.
Residents of the Red Light Street are treated like sellers of souvenirs, soap or toys in stores. And they themselves are no different from store workers. They decorate their "red" aquariums to their taste in order to distinguish themselves from competitors. Friends from nearby storefronts also come to them: to talk, drink tea, laugh at a careless customer.
It is strictly forbidden to take photos and shoot videos on Amsterdam's Red Light Streets. The desire to take with you a photo of the young lady who served you threatens with big problems. Yes, a few years ago, an Indian video reporter who ignored this ban was killed in Amsterdam.
