Jumping on the & .now trend a little late, but here we go! 😅

A handful of marks from the past few years of running SoloAsteroid. Some made it into the wild, some lived and died on my screen. Each one represents a client, a late night, or a lesson I needed at the time.

Designers love to cringe at old work, but I think there’s something good about looking back. It shows you grew.

Today I turn 29! 🥳

Eight years ago I was 21 with no real plan, just a love for design and a lot to figure out. I spent years in production, stacked skills I did not fully understand yet, and eventually built the confidence to go all in on SoloAsteroid.

None of this came from schooling, any courses or a shortcut. All of it came from staying in the work long enough to trust myself.

If you are earlier in the game right now, this one is for you. Stoked to keep up the tempo and really pushing this into business into overdrive this year! 🤙🏼🔥

You gotta stop Blanding in with the competition…

After surveying 50 people the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of construction logos they had this to say.

Outdated. Rooflines. Hammers and all looks the exact same. Side by side they could not tell you which company was which.

That is not a logo problem. That is a business problem.
When customers can not tell you apart they go with whoever is cheapest. Every time!

This is what intentional branding fixes.
