Delighted to deliver today’s “Marketing on a Shoestring (Hospitality & Tourism)” workshop at the Inter-County Networking & Familiarisation Trip 🙌

Tourism providers from East Galway, Roscommon, Westmeath and Longford all in one room — such a great mix of operators, managers and frontline teams.

Huge thanks to the organisers and hosts for a seamless afternoon… and to everyone who showed up ready to share ideas and collaborate. The energy in the room was brilliant.

Delighted to meet Micheál Martin, An Taoiseach, today to discuss the real opportunities and challenges facing Ballinasloe.

I attended alongside other local businesses to speak about business growth, job creation, and the day-to-day pressures we see on the ground, including the need for practical supports for microbusinesses, a stronger town centre, and better infrastructure for working families. It was a very positive meeting, with excellent, constructive discussion on what Ballinasloe needs to thrive.

A sincere thanks to Martin Daly and BACD for the opportunity to be in the room, to share our experience, and to ensure local voices are heard.

Ballinasloe has huge potential, and I’m hopeful this conversation is the start of real progress.
