Today, people scroll, watch, save, and share privately. Many won’t even hit “like.” They’ll DM it to a friend or save it for later instead. That doesn’t mean your content failed it often means it delivered value.

Yes Clients often ask me: “What kind of content will help us gain followers quickly?
My answer usually surprises them most people don’t follow quickly anymore. User behaviour has changed.

I also ask them who they last followed online or what they last liked?

The follow button has become more expensive. It’s a bigger decision than it used to be.

Right now, the strongest signals of performance aren’t always public metrics. Saves and shares are often more powerful than likes. They show intent, relevance, and usefulness.

Another truth brands need to hear: people follow people. Faces. Personalities. Insight. Education. Humor. Creativity.

If you’re a brand only showing product shots, your goal isn’t instant follows it’s consistent presence and trust over time.
