Just off Glengarriff, Garnish Island is known for its beautifully laid out gardens, winding paths and sweeping views across Bantry Bay.

The island is reached by a short and scenic boat trip from Glengarriff Harbour with Blue Pool Ferry or Harbour Queen Ferry, where you may even spot seals along the way.

With its colourful streets, friendly atmosphere and beautiful harbour setting, this lively West Cork town is a joy to explore.

Wander the winding lanes, enjoy great food, and soak up the easy coastal charm that makes Kinsale such a special place to visit, and one you’ll definitely want to come back to.
