The hardback proof for Rainy Days is here, and it looks great. There is a slight colour variation between the paperback and the hardback but that can't be helped because of the different printing processes involved, also the hardback has to be a slightly larger trim size, which works out because the larger trim size shows up the graphics over the chapter headings really well.
Overall I'm very happy with the quality of both the hardback and the paperback. I did have to make a couple of adjustments, those updates will take a few days to trickle down Amazons systems, once that's done everything will be ready to go.
In other news I've started working with a company called ACX to get an audio book of Rainy Days made. The manuscript for Rainy Days is being shopped around to potential narrators with auditions for narrators to start soon. The audio book is only at the very early stages but it is progressing. I've published books before but an audio book is new to me, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.
