Mallow Arts Festival Flag Day Set to Bring Colour and Community Spirit to the Town

There will be plenty of colour, smiles and community spirit around Mallow this week as volunteers from Mallow Arts Collective take to the streets for the annual Mallow Arts Festival Flag Day collection, this Saturday May 30th.

The well-established fundraiser will take place from 9am to 6pm, with volunteers collecting at various locations throughout the town in support of this year’s Mallow Arts Festival, which runs from July 22nd to 26th, 2026.

The Flag Day has become one of the festival’s most important annual fundraising events and plays a major role in helping organisers deliver another packed programme of entertainment and community activities this summer.

Every donation collected goes directly back into the festival and helps organisers continue their commitment to keeping many events free for the public, while also ensuring ticketed events remain affordable and accessible for families and the wider community.

Since launching in 2017, the Mallow Arts Festival has grown into one of the town’s most anticipated annual events, attracting large crowds and creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout Mallow over five days each summer.
