An extremely interesting fact finding mission day in Rome as Eugene Finnegan visits the Church of St Pietro in Montorio. Here lie the mortal remains of the great Hugh O’Neill and Hugh O’ Donnell and many of their kin. As you will be aware they left Ireland on September 14th 1607 in what became the Flight of The Earls.
