Matt Britton A night not to be missed......
It’s beginning to look a lot like ‘Panto Season’.
With less than two weeks to go until the start of our first Pantomime, Old Mother Hubbard in the Wild West’, by Paul Reakes, the excitement is really building in Leghowney Hall. This tale is a twist on the Old Mother Hubbard story we are familiar with.
Old Mother Hubbard her son Hughie, daughter Polly and faithful dog Dandy are evicted from their cottage and transported to the Wild West by the Good Fairy. Their quest, to search for her long-lost brother, who it was hoped would save them from their life of poverty. They meet many wild west characters along the way who do not always have the ‘newcomers’ best interests at heart. ‘Old Mother Hubbard in the Wild West’ will run from Sunday 7th at 5pm, Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, Thursday 11th and Friday 12th at 7pm nightly and final show on Saturday 13th of December at 5pm (No Show on Wednesday the 10th). This is an action-packed show, full of great characters, good old-fashioned comedy, wonderful songs & routines and a host of fabulous local talent you won't want to miss. Tickets €10 per child/€15 per adult will be available from the Hall at rehearsal times or available at the door.
