We’ve been fully immersed lately into creating this special promo video for Visit Louth which was formally launched yesterday. Full storyboard and script development, part video-production, full post-production and even a wee cameo role from our youngest… 🥰

Thinking Bigger: Culture & Heritage
Culture means economic development. Irish cities invest in festivals, heritage restoration, arts venues and tourism experiences because they create jobs, attract visitors and build community.

Places like Galway, Limerick, Cork and Waterford benefit from national funding streams linked to their recognised urban status to support cultural institutions and tourism growth.

What cultural investment brings:
- Restored heritage buildings
- Better attended festivals and events
- Tourism jobs and more visitors
- Night-time economy growth
- Arts spaces and cultural venues
- International visibility

City status amplifies cultural investment. Remaining a town limits its scale. (Image: © Copter View)

Big news for local communities across Louth.

A major funding boost under the CLÁR Programme will support community groups, sports clubs and rural projects across the county. Local representatives say the investment will improve facilities, strengthen rural towns and villages and deliver long term benefits for people who live, work and volunteer in Louth.
