Graphic Design Services - I'm creating and promoting the countdown to Kells TypeTrail - launching 11th of June 2026 in St. Columba's Old Church in Kells. This art festival is overall a font-astival delight, with a walking trail advertised on a map and website, showcasing over 20 art installations by students, community groups, local, national and international artists - turning Kells into a canvas of type.

A group of quick-thinking teenagers are being praised after rescuing ten tiny kittens that had been abandoned in a plastic bag and left in a disused yard in Drogheda.

According to Drogheda Animal Rescue, the shocking discovery was made on Sunday evening on the Marsh Road when local teenager Dylan and his friends heard distressed meowing coming from nearby.

The teenagers went to investigate and discovered ten young kittens stuffed inside a plastic Dunnes Stores bag.

The alarm was immediately raised and a volunteer from Drogheda Animal Rescue rushed to the scene to collect the animals.

The charity said the kittens would almost certainly not have survived had the teenagers not acted so quickly.

Portfolio - Logo Design for Hinterland. The Hinterland Festival of Literature & Arts in Kells is scheduled to take place from Thursday, 25 June to Sunday, 28 June 2026. This annual four-day event transforms the historic heritage town into a hub for debate, discussion, and creativity. The festival, which evolved from the Hay/Kells Festival established in 2013, features a diverse mix of author interviews, history talks, live music, and children's activities.

It's with much sadness that I learnt of Phil's passing. She was a tremendous force of good. Phil was involved in many things, promoting Drogheda, and I had the privilege of working on projects like the Drogheda Samba Festival and the Drogheda Tourist Office for her. She also helped represent Drogheda's tourism at the Louth Tourism Networking meetings. She will be missed. My condolences to her family, sorry for your loss.

There was deep sadness across Drogheda following the passing of Phil Conyngham, a well-known and warmly regarded member of the community who devoted much of her life to education and local life.
