Wall Candy Picture Framing

So one of our regular customers wanted to present a gift to the world famous Rotunda hospital after receiving the great care that anyone who steps through the front door would be familiar with.
We worked on this project together and it was up to wall candy to produce the overall look to it and of course frame it. The piece depicts a vintage drawing of the Rotunda hospital a special message from our customer to the Rotunda and a time line of all their family members that were born in the Rotunda dating from 1868 right up to last year when they were blessed with twins.
The piece also has copies of the birth registration for 4 of the family members. These are the type of projects that we love to get stuck into.

We love when we get that special piece in and given free reign to do what we like. This time it was an autographed book, Ian Flemings, Live and Let die signed by the beautiful Seymore who was the bond girl in the film staring along side , #007.
We felt the background should have a vintage yet explosive look to it in keeping with the age of the film. So we downloaded an old movie poster and photo shopped in some bullet holes then dry mounted it to a black core mountboard before cutting out the two jagged parts to mount the signature page and front cover.
We were of course so happy that the client was delighted with the finish product.

The shelters lit up by Philip Swan Photography going out the door tonight. Donated to the Portmarnocks old folks raffle. Don't forget to buy a few tickets 😉
