Here’s another quick look at that Phil Healy t-shirt. They wanted a vintage movie poster feel and gave me Bullitt (because of Phil’s nickname, the Ballineen Bullet) and Kill Bill as starting points for inspiration. I also used some line art of Japanese streets to give a little Manga feel as well as the kanji symbols for Tokyo.

I've been obsessed with New York City since I was about 6 years old and occasionally still have regrets about not spending some time living there when it was still a possibility. So to have one of my logos (for Irishify) cross the pond and wind up on a sports jersey there is mindblowingly awesome for me. This is what the Manhattan Gaels GAA teams will be wearing for training this year and I daresay it's challenging that gorgeous Knicks 'City Never Sleeps' jersey for my favourite in NYC. 😁 That's a cracking job Defy did with the rest of it!!!

Whenever I get to do a logo for someone I never know where it's going to end up or how it's going to get used. They go out into the world and then it's up to their new owners to do what they will. Some of them I occasionally see on vans around town, some of them I only ever see when I have to go through an old hard drive looking for something else. It'll be hard for a future client to top this as 'coolest place to put one of my logos!'
