After a great weekend is back at the desk getting stuck into another busy week!

Here's what is on the agenda 😊

🔨Today we've had a busy morning supporting the Construction Industry Federation with the launch of its 2026 Construction Safety Campaign, its flagship annual initiative to help protect the safety, health and welfare of workers in the industry.

📃On Wednesday evening, Abby and Eliza will provide event management support to Coimisiún na Meán at a special welcome reception in City Hall ahead of its EU Presidency two-day event, the 64th EPRA meeting.

👷On Friday Maisie and Abby are continuing to work closely with CIF to highlight its 2026 South East Construct event in Waterford city. The half-day conference will explore opportunities and challenges facing the delivery of infrastructure, housing and building projects in the South-East region. 📚And last but not least Martina is heading to Tralee this week, to attend ETBI's Annual Congress. The theme this year is 'From Ballinskelligs to Brussels - Building our ETB-EU Partnerships', and she's looking forward to hearing from current and former MEPs, education experts from across the EU, policymakers, and public commentators.

🏛️Don’t forget The Irish Architecture Foundation’s Open House Dublin festival is in full swing and we’re delighted to be working on the media relations campaign for it once again. What a way to build up to the weekend🏛️

Maisie and Lily were delighted to attend the official launch of Open House Dublin 2026, opened by Kevin “Boxer” Moran TD, Minister of State with special responsibility for the OPW.

We're delighted to be working with the Irish Architecture Foundation team on the media relations campaign for Open House Dublin once more.

One of our favourite festivals, the nine-day celebration of the city and county's architecture kicks off tomorrow until 18th October, with more than 200 free events taking place under this year's 'Dublin is Living' theme.

After a lovely weekend is back at the desk getting stuck into another busy week!

Here’s what’s on the agenda 😊

✈️Dermot is flying to Copenhagen with Ireland for Law to attend the International Bar Association conference in Copenhagen, where Ireland for Law is hosting a networking reception for attendees at The Globe Irish Pub.

💵Tomorrow, we are - of course - monitoring the announcement of Budget 2027, and we'll be working with a range of Alice clients to get their Budget reaction out there over the coming days.

🐕Niamh, Maisie and Abby are working with the NSPCA to highlight a briefing in Leinster House this week, in partnership with Eurogroup for Animals on the future of live animal transport in Europe. The event coincides with Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the EU and will examine live animal transport legislation, and highlight concerns in relation to the welfare of transported animals.

📝And last but not least Martina is delivering two strategic communications workshops this week - for Irish Families Through Surrogacy and the Irish Refugee Council

✈️Martina and Dermot are at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool today as part of our work with The Repair Campaign. This evening, a special fringe event at the conference - organised by The Repair Campaign in partnership with More in Common - will focus on the topic of reparatory justice, with guest inputs by Lord Marvin Rees, Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, Cllr. Valerie Bossman-Quarshie, and Sophie Stowers - moderated by Stephen Bush of the Financial Times.

🖋️Niamh is looking forward to attending Ibec's event on Shared Prosperity: The European Engine Driving Ireland's Economic Edge tomorrow.

📰On Thursday, Martina is delivering a workshop for the Irish Cancer Society, focused on strategic communications.

🏙️We're continuing our work for Ireland for Law, with the countdown is on for the annual Dublin International Disputes Week. The full conference programme has been confirmed and tickets still available online at didw.ie.

🏆We’re thrilled to have taken home the award for Most Impactful Print/Broadcast Media Campaign for our work with Foras na Gaeilge of ‘An Foclóir Nua Gaeilge’, the first comprehensive monolingual Irish dictionary of its kind.

⭐ It was an honour to be highly commended in the Most Impactful Event category for our work with Ruhama on its 2025 international conference, ‘Technology ─ Friend or Foe? An International Conversation on Combatting Po*******hy, Sexual Violence and Sexual Exploitation'.

Still riding the high from our awards success last Friday, is back preparing for the week ahead! Here’s what’s in store:

🚆Tomorrow, Tuesday, Dermot and Abby will travel to Hillsborough Castle with the Association of Chief Executives of State Agencies for a special event focused on cross-border collaboration within the public service in partnership with the Chief Executives Forum of Northern Ireland (CEF).

🏟️ Maisie will be in Croke Park on Wednesday to provide communications support at the Construction Industry Federation's Annual Conference, where senior Government and industry leaders will focus on the practical actions needed to get Ireland building.

🎤 Our expert advisor, veteran retired RTÉ newscaster and journalist Eileen Dunne will be MC-ing the Simon Communities of Ireland National Conference on Thursday in Chamber of Commerce as part of Simon Week 2026, which will explore the policies, partnerships and practical solutions needed to end homelessness, drawing on experiences from Ireland and across Europe.

🐕 And finally, Niamh, Maisie and Abby are looking forward to hanging out with some furry friends on Friday at a celebration at the NSPCA Animal Rescue centre in Rathfarnham.

Maisie, Abby and Eliza have enjoyed a sports-star-studded week while managing a media relations campaign to support Rory’s Miles to Mayo: The Trilogy ─ the 378km walking challenge across the island of Ireland being led by Ireland and Ulster rugby legend Rory Best in aid of Cancer Fund for Children that's still in full swing.

They kicked off the Republic of Ireland leg at the Aviva Stadium on Monday morning when Rory, 21 business leaders, supporters and special guests set off to their day one destination, Keogh's Farm in Oldtown. was pitch side to coordinate photography, media interviews and a live Ireland AM item with familiar faces including Rob Kearney, Shane Byrne, Johnny Sexton and Cillian O’Connor.

Yesterday Rory and co were joined by Olympic medallist Sonia O’Sullivan, Cork hurling legend Seán Óg Ó hAilpín and former Ireland and Munster rugby player Donncha O’Callaghan at Cork Constitution Football Club who joined them on day six of the walk to Mallow.

On day seven today, they are en route to Thomond Park in Limerick City. They're heading to Galway tomorrow and they'll cross the finish line on Sunday in Cong, Co Mayo at the site of Daisy Lodge, Cancer Fund for Children’s nearly completed therapeutic short break centre for children, young people and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

Rory’s Miles to Mayo ─ the Trilogy is the final part of a series of three physical fundraising challenges led by Rory Best for Cancer Fund for Children, which have raised over €2.5 million to date.

It was great to work with Uplift over the past week to highlight a temporary sand installation on Dublin Bay, protesting U.S President Donald Trump’s visit to Ireland. The large-scale sand artwork was commissioned by Uplift and created by Waterford environmental artist Seán Corcoran. We engaged with media on both sides of the Atlantic to draw attention to this protest.

💂Martina & Niamh have been kept extremely busy in London over the weekend, managing press for the Government of Jamaica for its filing of a petition on slavery reparations with King Charles. The petition filing is a leading story on UK, Caribbean and global outlets for the past 24 hours, as we've been coordinating interviews with Sky News, ITV, BBC, The Guardian, Reuters, PA, Al Jazeera, France 24 & more…

📝Later today, Martina & Niamh are in Westminster for a political briefing event on the Jamaican petition. And, tomorrow, we’re working on a Repair Campaign event to coincide with the petition filing, bringing together reparatory justice leaders from across the UK.

📚Today, we're also supporting the official launch of Children's Books Ireland's new guide 'The Best Irish Books 2026', which features over 100 titles published this year which were written or illustrated by an Irish-born or Irish-based artist. Lots of inspiration for anyone with young readers in their life, the guides are available for free in participating bookshops and libraries nationwide.

✈️This week Dermot is Stateside for the Ireland for Law NYC Business Mission which has brought an Irish legal delegation to Manhattan for a programme of events to promote Ireland as the jurisdiction of choice for international businesses.

🌼Cancer Fund for Children's Rory’s Miles to Mayo 378km walking challenge being led by rugby legend Rory Best in support of children and young people affected by cancer kicks off this Saturday, 12th September, so Maisie and Abby are continuing to work hard on a media relations campaign to go alongside it.

💚And finally we're continuing to support My Legacy this week ahead of International Legacy Giving Day on 13th September. We're rolling out a regional campaign to encourage people to include a gift for a charity in their Will this My Legacy Month.

After the last weekend of summer is back at the desk preparing for a busy month ahead! 📚

Here’s what’s in store…

📹On Tuesday, Niamh is managing the filming of special videos to be shown at the Ceiling Breakers' 'We Are In This Together' Ball – an event raising vital funds on behalf of the Irish Cancer Society for breast and prostate cancer care, research and support services.

🎤On Thursday, Martina is speaking at Charities Institute Ireland's Fundraising Labs event, sharing her insights on the topic of 'Trust, Messaging and Fundraising Under Pressure’.

📘Also on Thursday, Emma will be supporting Children's Books Ireland on a photocall ahead of the launch of its new 'Best Irish Books of 2026' reading guide.

✈️And, at the weekend, Martina is heading to London as part of our work with the Government of Jamaica directing media relations for a milestone moment in Jamaica's fight for reparatory justice. We'll have more details to share next week.

🌼And finally, a big focus for us this September is Cancer Fund for Children's Rory’s Miles to Mayo 378km walking challenge being led by rugby legend Rory Best in support of children and young people affected by cancer. Maisie and Abby have been working on a media relations campaign to highlight this epic fundraiser before it kicks off a 9-day route across the island of Ireland on 12th September.
