Martina was proud to contribute to the ICCO - The International Communications Consultancy Organisation's World PR Report 2025-2026, alongside a host of other industry leaders across global markets offering their insights on the state of play in PR today

This year's report, themed "The Era of Relationship Capital", highlights some fascinating statistics, including that 91% of PR professionals believe AI will be the most relevant technology impacting PR over the next five years, and that 75% of practitioners have turned down work on ethical grounds.

Martina, who represents Ireland on ICCO’s Board and is co-chair of the organisation’s Ethics Board, contributed the chapter on ‘Ethics in the Industry’ to this year’s World PR Report, focusing on issues such as information integrity; how to foster critical analysis in the age of AI; and how best to advise and add value for clients in a world fraught with polarisation and geopolitical change.

Good afternoon from

We enjoyed a glorious weekend soaking up the sun, though a couple of us took a break from the rays on Saturday - Dermot and Maisie delivered an advocacy and media training session to young people creating change on behalf of SpunOut.

Here’s the agenda for the week ahead:

Martina and Niamh are looking forward to attending the Dublin Tech Summit.

On Wednesday, Emma and Paul-Michel will be on site for a day of filming for a client's upcoming awareness campaign.

And finally, on Thursday, Emma and Maisie are attending the Ibec Corporate Affairs Summit at the Convention Centre.

We hope everyone has a great week!

Good morning from Team Alice! 👋

📚 Sara, Eoin and Sebastian are at the KPMG Children's Books Ireland Awards in Merrion Square today, providing support on media relations. The Awards, in partnership with International Literature Festival Dublin, will see a total of six awards presented to Irish authors and illustrators, including the KPMG Book of the Year Award, plus the KPMG Reading Hero Award.

👨‍🏫 Dermot is delivering training in public affairs and political engagement skills for one of our NGO clients this afternoon, sharing his top tips on building political awareness and lobbying to achieve progressive change.

📏 Martina is attending the 2026 AMEC Global Summit this week, which - very handily - is taking place in Dublin! AMEC is the international association for the measurement and evaluation of communication, and Martina's looking forward to a jam-packed schedule over the next few days, focused on issues such as AI use in the world of PR, trust and reputation management, cultural influence, disinformation and data quality, future PR trends, and much, much more.

🗣️On Thursday evening, Martina is speaking as part of a panel discussion in DCU for an event to mark the 10th anniversary of DCU's excellent MScPR programme. A huge congratulations to Martin Molony, Padraig McKeon & all involved in making the programme such a success over the past 10 years. We're looking forward to celebrating with you this week. 🎉

We hope everyone has a lovely week.

We were delighted to support our client, Children's Books Ireland, on media relations for their briefing to Oireachtas members at Dáil Éireann earlier this week.

CBI presented their 2027 Pre-Budget Submission to Oireachtas members, which calls for an annual funding commitment of €68 million from Government for primary and secondary school libraries in Budget 2027.

The call was discussed on RTÉ Radio 1's Morning Ireland, Today FM's The Last Word, and Newstalk Breakfast, with further coverage in the Irish Examiner. We also saw local pick-up on regional media bulletins throughout the country, including SPIN South West, iRadio, Midlands 103 and many more.

Following a successful briefing, Emma, Sara and Eoin are continuing their support of CBI on this important Budget 2027 ask.

We were delighted to support our client, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA Animal Rescue) on media relations for the recent official launch and publication of its 2026-2030 Strategy at Buswells, where it called for law reform on dog breeding, horse-drawn vehicles, banning fox hunting for sport, and greyhound racing.

RTÉ Radio 1’s Today with David McCullagh, Virgin Media News, RTÉ's News2Day (watch the full piece here: https://www.rte.ie/video/id/32371/), Newstalk Breakfast, The Last Word on Today FM, and Newstalk’s Moncrieff all covered the story, as did Irish Examiner, TheJournal.ie, RTE.ie and the Irish Daily Mail among others.

Following a successful launch event, Niamh, Maisie, and Abby are continuing to work away on a media relations campaign to highlight the landmark merger and important call for stronger animal welfare laws in Ireland.
