I hadn't planned to go 'off grid' this week. My phone, however, obviously needed a break! It died quietly in Edinburgh, leaving me to discover the joys life sans fone.

Even with my backup phone (yes, I have a backup, doesn't everyone??) it has taken a while to get back what I need... in truth, not a lot!

Part of me is wondering whether or not to go back to using my phone for calling and talking to people...
..nah, never going to happen!!

For anyone who spends their time shooting gigs, where the only option is to open up your lens to the widest aperture in the hope of getting some light in, these handy aperture wristbands serve as a reminder that other apertures do exist.

The trip to Bury this evening was frustrating because I could not find a track I liked - own fault, it's my own playlist! Skip, skip, skip... then I found it, a track I wanted to listen to. Thank you - it was Whistling Man. Had to drive around the block till it finished! Now, back to work, heat 3
