We worked with TCM Capital on the official launch of their new Ireland operations with the establishment of TCM Funding in Dublin.

The company is really excited to be bringing TCM’s specialist expertise to help Irish companies to commercially optimise tax credits on research and development (R&D) expenditure.

Bradley Chalmers, Group Managing Partner says that the opportunity for growth in Ireland is significant – he is quoted in the Irish Times (see link below), speaking about the opportunities for TCM Funding in Ireland: “Given that only around 1 percent of Irish companies claim R&D tax credits, we see enormous potential for organisations here to benefit from these refunds, which are designed to help foster business growth and innovation. Our research shows there is a significantly low level of awareness of how to qualify for R&D tax credits and we’ve also found that many find the process daunting and complicated.”

A little learning, a little growing🪴

Yesterday our L&D session had us getting our hands dirty, as we refreshed our herb garden for the summer!

We planted a variety of herbs including parsley, coriander and thyme - just in time to (hopefully) make use of them at our summer BBQ!

Last week, our Managing Director Owen attended the Entrepreneurs' Organisation 29th Annual Global Leadership Conference at the Convention Centre Dublin.

The event brought together over 2,000 entrepreneurs from across the world, creating a strong mix of ideas, experiences and global perspectives.

As part of the programme, Owen had the opportunity to introduce the Gardiner Brothers, teeing up a high-energy performance that brought a different pace to the conference.

A great few days of insight, connection and a reminder of the value of being part of a global entrepreneurial community.

We teamed up with Adventure Burn to host an immersive hiking and abseil experience, celebrating the launch of the latest Dare 2b Torrek range🏔️

The range was put to the test throughout the day, especially when the typical Irish rain made an appearance!

Our series is back, featuring our newest addition to the team Chloe!

A recent graduate of DCU with strong experience in journalism, Chloe has joined Cullen Communications as our new intern. We asked Chloe a few quick questions to get to know her better:

❓Q: If you could pick a different career, what would it be?

🙋‍♀️ A: Such a difficult question as I absolutely adore what I do but I would have to say a vet - I love animals so much!

❓Q: If you had a superpower, what would it be?

🙋‍♀️ A: I would want to be able to transport anywhere - it would make the commute to work so much quicker!

❓Q: What is your favourite thing about working at Cullen Communications?

🙋‍♀️ A: The people are genuinely so kind and helpful, I really enjoy coming in every day and having great company. Any question I have is always answered and anytime I need help it's given.

❓Q: What is the best piece of advice that you’ve gotten in your career?

🙋‍♀️ A: Networking is so important, be kind to everyone and be open to learning anything. Never be afraid to ask questions and always be listening.
