On behalf of myself and Communications Group of Ireland we offer our friend, colleague and lecturer Emma Boylan our deepest sympathy and to her Mother, Marian, and brother Kevin on the sudden passing of her wonderful Dad yesterday. Emma and I were working together giving a training course in Dublin and having finished our day’s long programme she was alerted by her partner Shane who met her on the way back to Donegal. I’m truly devastated for Emma and for all that know her will understand how precious her Dad and indeed her family are to her. May Kevin rest in eternal peace. Funeral arrangements have been posted to RIP.IE.

Dubai Drone Taxi, The Dubai Road and Transport Authorities announced that it will launch a Drone Taxi service in the Summer of 2017. The "Remote Controlled, Single Seat, Electric Drones" can carry a passenger weighing up to 100Kg's within a 50 Km range. The Drones can fly for 30 minutes at a speed of 160 Km/Hour before the need to recharge again. The passenger selects his destination from a map on a touch-screen in front of the seat and the Drone flies there automatically whilst passenger "enjoys" the Dubai Skies. The Drone is controlled from an Air Traffic Command Center, it has NO parachute and relies on a set of high availability redundant propellers for safety.
